The third season continues to explore the many lives that make up Malgudi, moving between comedy, hardship and quiet human drama. Its stories follow labourers, thieves, musicians, writers, servants and wandering performers whose seemingly simple lives lead to unexpected moral and emotional dilemmas. Multi-part stories such as Salt & Sawdust and Naga add greater depth to the season's portrait of relationships, survival and social change.
