Thousands of youth hopefuls from all over Australia go through a fly-on-the-wall insight where talented musicians/singers go through stages of elimination where by a select few are given a record contract. In Popstars 3, similar to Big Brother where viewers are given the weekly task of voting out of The Final 7 whereby there is only 1 left standing.
