Stevie's judgment is clouded by her attempts to camouflage a pimple, and then she doesn't wear a helmet when riding out in the field on Belle. She then falls off and gets a bump on her head. Meanwhile, Veronica arranges to have a potential Olympic champion take her place so Kristi's team will win the prize of having their photograph in a prominent equestrian magazine.
