30. January 1933: Hindenburg appoints Hitler as Reich Chancellor. Germany is threatening dictatorship. Members of the resistance arrive at the Berlin Press Ball in the evening. At the dance with Gereon (Volker Bruch) Charlotte (Liv Lisa Fries) discovers a murder suspect among the guests. Dr. Forster (Ulrich Noethen) is suspected of having strangled his office hours. Shortly before the access, Forster disappears - and with him Gereon.
