As the evening unfolds, Jackson confronts a whirlwind of emotions—nervousness, excitement, and the lingering shadows of their past. With the encouragement and wisdom of their drag mentor, they’re able to face their fears and perform–finding the creative liberation of their sober identity in the process. The film explores themes of self-discovery, resilience, and the power of reinvention while paying homage to the unique spirit of Glasgow's queer scene.
