Mahdi Hasan Rahi

Mahdi Hasan Rahi is a visual artist and emerging filmmaker based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Currently pursuing his undergraduate degree at the University of Dhaka, Rahi explores narratives that blend personal observation with cinematic storytelling. His artistic practice focuses on the nuances of daily life and intimate environments. Making his directorial debut with "Rahir Ma", Rahi brings a distinct visual sensibility to the medium of docu-fiction, examining the quiet complexities of family dynamics and domestic labor in modern South Asian society.
