佐野史郎

Shirō Sano (born March 4, 1955, in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan) is a Japanese actor and director. After working with several theater companies, he had his first starring film role in To Sleep so as to Dream (1986) and gained wider recognition through the television drama Zutto Anata ga Suki datta (1992). His film credits include Violent Cop (1989), Godzilla 2000 (1999), Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack (2001), and Godzilla: Final Wars (2004). He made his directorial debut with Karaoke in 1999.
